Robert L. Graber
Vice President and Director of Research & Development
Rob Graber is co-founder of Austin Lane Technologies, Inc. and
brings over 20 years of expert technical knowledge and industry
experience in commercial and residential construction, commercial
and residential property management, hospitality, and point of sale
systems to the organization. Rob has been developing
sophisticated, robust and leading edge handheld applications since
early 1999. His applications are revolutionizing the construction
industry as well as other industries and have been instrumental in
changing the way companies perform their daily operations
resulting in a drastic reduction in operating costs.
Rob began his professional career in 1986 in Iowa City, IA as an
estimator and programmer for Packaged Structures, Inc.
Throughout his successful career, Rob held positions ranging from
programmer/analyst to MIS Manager. Prior to Austin Lane
Technologies, Inc., Rob held positions of programmer/analyst and
Senior Programmer/Analyst for Geac Computers, Inc. for 8 years.
Throughout his career Rob has successfully developed, managed
and implemented Y2K product solutions, migrated legacy
applications to state of the art Windows products, developed large
custom modifications, and developed and implemented a complete
construction management accounting system. Rob’s demonstrated
forte is the ability to interface multiple software products to achieve
seamless solutions for customers.
Rob received his BS degrees from Iowa State University in 1986 in
Chemical Engineering with honors and General Business with
honors. He is an expert programmer in Satellite Forms and Code
Warrior for Palm Computing platform, Microsoft Access and SQL databases, .NET, Visual Basic, C, XML, Thoroughbred Basic,
QBasic, Pascal, Fortran, Assembly Language, and Unix Shell
Script. He is also a veteran in Unix, AIX, Windows and Novell
operating systems. |
