Constructech’s Hottest Companies
Awards are open to
technology, building
automation, or automated
home technology vendors.
Each year, participating
companies are judged by the
Constructech editorial
staff based on a range of
criteria, including the
description of the company’s
product and/or service,
significant accomplishments
in the past year, the growth
record for the past three
years, noteworthy customer
wins, and new products
impacting the marketplace.
Construction companies
demand technology solutions
that will help them reach
the next level. This forces
technology providers to
constantly evolve their
solutions and many of this
year’s winners demonstrate
this ability. Of the 22
companies named “hot” this
year for the commercial
sector, eight of them have
received this distinction
three or more times in the
history of the Hottest
Companies award.
Constructech also designated 10
“Companies to Watch” and one
“Up & Coming” from the
entries received. These
companies have caught the
eye of our editors, as
companies the editors will
keep close tabs on in the
coming months to see if they
will earn the distinction as
“hot” in 2008.
“Construction companies are
no longer laggards when it
comes to adopting
technology. They demand
innovative solutions that
will improve their business;
solutions such as building
information modeling,
Web-based collaboration
tools, and mobile
applications,” says Mike
Carrozzo, editor,
Constructech.
“This year’s winners clearly
show they are leaders in
providing emerging solutions
to the market.”
