Unwired Cities Struggling

With the advent of Wi-Fi, many cities across America have taken on the mandate to provide Wi-Fi as a public service to citizens.  While the technology may or may not be ready, the funding and infrastructure for such projects has been under-estimated in most cases.  Yahoo News posted an AP article called “Cities struggle with wireless Internet” that covers some examples of the issues that this new public service imposes.  Only time will tell if this service ends up being a private or public sector offering.
