In a recent PCMag.com article, they list the top 10 most common passwords. A favorite password for many is “password”. Check out the full list here.

This list is not anything new. Most people use easy to remember passwords that are obvious, and may appear on this list. If you or your company have any users that utilize one of these 10 passwords, please consider changing them immediately. At the very least, it will discourage people walking through the office, i.e. visitors or cleaning crews, from logging on to your computer.
