Construction Industry Wage-Hour Issues

The construction industry is continually challenged with new regulations and case law that require employers to review and/or revise their wage and hour practices.  Requirements can vary from state to state, and even municipality to municipality, as well as based on the project funding sources.  A new article in Construction Executive Magazine (from Associated Builders and Contractors) provides some recent insight in to the types of issues that employers should be evaluating today in their article entitled “Navigating a Contractor’s Wage And Hour Issues“.  Regular review of wage and hour practices should be on your organizations to-do list to ensure you are meeting the current regulations and avoiding costly litigation.
