Austin Lane invited by Palm to Select Developer Summit

This summit was designed to provide advance information to key developers, as well as to provide feedback to Palm on development and product direction. Palm introduced the Palm Foleo mobile companion to the attendees, and discussed the potential market applications and benefits of this exciting new product. Palm also discussed the new MyPalm initiative (currently in Beta) and how it can benefit the consumers as well as vendors that operate in that market. Austin Lane has over eight years of win/win relationship with Palm, and was able to glean key information that will benefit customers for the coming years. Austin Lane is also providing key information to Palm executives to ensure that future devices and capabilities will benefit the enterprise market and specifically those organizations utilizing the ALMobile solution.
Austin Lane’s ALMobile products recently qualified for the “Designed For Palm Products” (DFPP) program, which allows Palm and Austin Lane to work closely together on development and marketing initiatives. The DFPP is reserved for best-of-breed products and solutions, and lets customers know that they are purchasing a solution that meets all of the stringent Palm guidelines and will function well on their Palm devices.
