ALMobile Approved for Designed for Palm Products Program

July 6th, 2007 by Austin Lane

Austin Lane is proud to announce that ALMobile Suite and its related products, including ALPay and ALTrac, have passed the high-quality testing requirements of Palm’sDesigned for Palm Products” (DFPP) program.  This certification is currently for the latest version 7.3 of ALMobile suite and the latest Palm OS operating system shipped on devices such as the Treo 700p, Tungsten E2, and TX.  While the current certification does not yet include Windows Mobile, this testing is planned to occur soon, and many customers have already been utilizing the ALMobile products on Windows Mobile devices without any issues.

The DFPP is designed to identify the best-of-breed products for Palm devices, both Palm OS and Windows Mobile based, so that customers can rest assured that they are purchasing a solution that meets the standard user-interface guidelines and the quality that they have come to expect from Palm solutions.  This milestone has also qualified Austin Lane as a member of the Palm Select Developer program, and allows Palm to work closely with Austin Lane on various enterprise projects, relationships with major wireless carriers (i.e. Sprint, Verizon Wireless, AT&T) and marketing initiatives.

Austin Lane is excited to have ALMobile receive this certification level, and the recognition it has earned after years of successful implementations throughout the market.  We want to thank our customers for their input and assistance with bringing the ALMobile to this milestone, and we invite our customers to share in this prestigious accomplishment.
